SEMANTIC METHODS FOR BIG DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS

The Semantic Web journal calls for innovative and high-quality papers describing the role of Semantic Web technologies, Linked Data, and ontologies for the Big Data age. Papers can either focus on innovative contributions to methods and technology, or on the transfer of state of the art methods to an application domain, e.g. in the geo- or life sciences, in the humanities, or to industry-driven topics.

Quality Management of Semantic Web Assets (Data, Services and Systems)

The standardization and adoption of Semantic Web technologies has resulted in a variety of assets, including an unprecedented volume of data being semantically enriched and systems and services, which consume or publish this data. Although gathering, processing and publishing data is a step towards further adoption of Semantic Web, quality does not yet play a central role in these assets (e.g., data lifecycle, system/service development).
