Combined SWJ/EKAW2014 submissions using the SWJ review process

The EKAW 2014 Call for Research Track Papers allows for combined conference + SW journal (fast-track) submissions:

Papers submitted via this track will be published as regular research paper in the EKAW 2014 conference proceedings; a suitably extended version of the paper will be published as a full journal paper in the Semantic Web journal. Papers submitted to this combined track will undergo the regular (open and transparent) SWJ review process.

Papers that are acceptable for both conference and journal will be printed in the conference proceedings and authors will be asked to submit a suitably extended journal version. This extended version will then undergo a fast-track review process with the Semantic Web journal.

The organisers of EKAW 2014 have expressed that they are committed to an open and transparent reviewing process, and for this reason they encourage authors to submit their paper as a combined conference/journal submission: their submissions, and the reviews, are then public, which fosters scientific discourse and high quality reviewing.
