Semantic Web journal impact factor
OUTDATED, see IF 2018 for new data.
We just found out about the new impact factors which were just released. This is only the second year that the Semantic Web journal received an impact factor, and we are pleased to see that the upward trajectory continues. In fact, our impact factor has significantly increased to 2,889 from previous year's 1,786.
Below is the list of "Web" journals which we generated a year ago for comparison, together with the new, updated, impact factors.
Semantic Web 2.889
ACM Transactions on the Web 1.526
International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems 1.500
World Wide Web - Internet and Web Information Systems 1.405
International Journal of Web and Grid Services 1.105
Journal of Web Semantics 1.075
International Journal of Web Services Research 0.667
Like last year, here are some journals (the same as last year in fact) with overlapping scope. Last year, the Semantic Web journal was third on this list. We kept our place, but there's a wider spread now.
VLDB Journal 4.269
IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering: 3.438
Semantic Web 2.889
Information Systems 2.777
ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction 2.227
Knowledge and Information Systems 2.004
Data & Knowledge Engineering 1.694
Multimedia Tools and Applications 1.530
ACM Transactions on the Web 1.526
International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems (IJSWIS) 1.500
World Wide Web - Internet and Web Information Systems 1.405

Some journals covering generically larger communities of course are higher, although one of the ones mentioned last year now ranks below the Semantic Web journal.

Knowledge-based Systems 4.529
Communications of the ACM 4.027
IEEE Intelligent Systems 2.374
