Abstract: 
Establishing links between ontologies and linked data on the semantic web would greatly increase the utility of these resources. While ontology and linked data matching has been an active research area for quite some time, many challenges remain. The three papers in this special issue address various aspects of the matching problem, including similarity metrics, property matching, and involving the user in the matching process.
